Hey hey! I’m Alayna of Alayna on Purpose and I’m so happy that you’ve made your way to my little bubble here on the internet. I created this space as a tool for healing and to share life experiences. I truly believe if we were all a bit more honest about who we are and truly embraced being transparent and vulnerable, the world wouldn’t be so powered by false images and thought processes. Most importantly, I hope this space inspires you to live on purpose! But before we get too deep, let me share more about myself!
About Me
I’m a Florida native living in Arizona! I love all things comfy, genuine and simple. My peace is my priority. Spontaneous adventures are my jam (as long as I’m joined by great company). I’ll choose jazz and old school Rnb any day over Cardi or Nikki (no offense to them). I am the mom of a beautiful baby boy. He’s feisty yet sweet. My favorite person by far. I was married for 4 years, and am now a single mama figuring all of this ish out. We’ll dig into that another time….. I love Jesus and I love having an honest relationship with him. My faith is my foundation in everything I do. I have a knack for business and, more specifically, leadership. In addition, I love teaching others what I know and anything that will help them to progress and succeed. And we can’t forget health! I have loved the all things health since my teenage years. Knowing how the body works truly intrigues me.
Like many of you, my collegiate journey started out on a track to medical school, but I learned quickly that was not the path for me. I went on to get my BS in Public Health from the University of South Florida and my Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University. I have two LLCs and currently work for The CDC Foundation. I’ve tried my hand at entrepreneurship, but timing and connection are everything. Another journey we’ll dig into later.
Let’s Live On Purpose
So, what can you expect here? It’ll be a plethora of things. My sole purpose is to encourage you to live in purpose and live on purpose. If I had to categorize it I’d say “purposeful living.”
I hope you will join me on this journey of living in truth and doing it with intention. You were made for a purpose that is far beyond yourself and together we can navigate the highs and lows of that (even living in purpose comes with its challenges…). So let’s do this friend! No fear, no doubt. Only love, understanding and peace.
